Is it free? Do I need an account?

Every timer is free to use. No account or installation is required.

Does it work in another tab?

Yes. The countdown uses an end timestamp, so switching tabs does not stop time. Closing the browser or putting your device to sleep can delay or prevent the sound. Use a device alarm as well when a reliable alert matters.

Do I have to control the characters?

No. They wander, run and swim on their own as the water rises. Everyone is rescued when the session ends. Use the reduce motion button if you prefer a quieter scene.

How do I turn on the alarm?

Turn on the sound button at the top of the page for a short completion chime. Sound is off by default. Your device volume and browser settings may affect playback.
